Stunning new exterior design
With its classic three-box sedan proportions, the 2024 E-Class stands out on the road with its short front overhang and long hood are followed by a greenhouse which is set well back. This "cab-backward" design is well-proportioned with a rounded-off rear overhang. One of the most outstanding features of the new E-Class is its visually appealing front that connects the radiator grille with the headlamps. This feature is a black panel-like surface insert in high-gloss black that is reminiscent of the Mercedes-EQ models. The E-Class also comes with high-performance LED headlamps as standard, with the advanced DIGITAL LIGHT system available as an optional extra.
Premium and connected interior
The E-Class's stunning interior is designed for a digital experience with its dashboard, which houses the MBUX Superscreen that extends to the central display if equipped with the optional front passenger screen. The instrument cluster display is detached from the central display and is located within the driver's field of vision. However, if you don't opt for a passenger display, a large trim element extends to the center, with the central display appearing to float above the concave surface of the trim element.

Mild-hybrid electrification
The electrified performance of the E-Class is impressive, with two versions available- E 350 4MATIC and E 450 4MATIC. The E 350 4MATIC features a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, while the E 450 4MATIC comes with a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with 375 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Both models come standard with all-wheel drive and mild electrification.
New features
The new E-Class also comes with a range of exciting new features, including Active Ambient Lighting with Sound Visualization that allows occupants to "see" music tracks, sounds from films or apps, a selfie and video camera (part of the optional MBUX Superscreen), and a new compatibility layer that permits installing third-party apps. At market launch, four apps are available on the central display, including games like Angry Birds, Webex and Zoom platforms, and social media platforms as well.
