From the $78,400 GLC 400 4MATIC to Pinnacle Plus: Every 2027 Electric GLC Package Explained

Mercedes-Benz Canada has confirmed pricing for the all-new 2027 Mercedes-Benz Electric GLC SUV. The GLC 400 4MATIC starts at an MSRP of $78,400 and arrives at Canadian dealerships in October 2026. For that price, you get dual electric motors, 483 hp, 590 lb-ft of torque and an estimated range of up to 563 km.

Buying one comes down to a single model and four ways to equip it. You can keep the well-equipped standard version, or add the Exclusive, Pinnacle or Pinnacle Plus Trim Package. Here is what each level adds, what it costs and who it suits best.

Powertrain, Range and Charging on Every GLC 400 4MATIC

Every Electric GLC uses the same drivetrain, so performance does not change as you move up the packages. Dual motors and standard 4MATIC all-wheel drive produce 483 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. The SUV goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, and its electronically limited top speed is 209 km/h.

A 94 kWh lithium-ion battery runs on a new 800-volt electrical architecture. The estimated range is up to 563 km, measured under NRCan-approved guidelines. DC fast charging reaches up to 330 kW, which adds about 260 to 303 km of range in 15 to 20 minutes under optimal conditions. A standard heat pump helps manage cabin and battery temperatures efficiently.

At the rear, a two-speed transmission uses a short first gear for quick launches and towing, and a taller second gear for relaxed highway driving. The front motor disconnects when it is not needed to save energy. Through MB.CHARGE Public, drivers can use networks including ChargePoint, BC Hydro, Circuit Électrique, Ivy, FLO and Tesla Superchargers.

Space and Towing for Family Life

The Electric GLC rides on a 2,972 mm wheelbase, which opens up more legroom and headroom than the gas-powered GLC. The trunk holds 569 litres and grows to 1,739 litres with the rear seats folded. The rear seatback folds electrically in a 40:20:40 split, and a 127-litre front trunk opens at the touch of the Mercedes-Benz star.

With the optional trailer hitch, the GLC 400 4MATIC can tow up to 5,291 lbs (2,400 kg) braked. ESP trailer stabilization comes standard with the hitch, so a small camper or utility trailer stays steady behind you.

The Standard GLC 400 4MATIC: $78,400 MSRP

The standard version comes well equipped. It suits buyers who want the full electric GLC driving experience with the essential comfort and technology already in place. Two screens handle most tasks: a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14-inch central media display. A fixed panoramic glass roof brightens the cabin.

  • Technology: Google Maps Navigation with Electric Intelligence, Digital Vehicle Key, Mercedes-Benz Digital Extras and wireless charging
  • Comfort: heated front seats, heated steering wheel, KEYLESS-GO and HANDS-FREE ACCESS
  • Safety and lighting: High Performance LED headlamps, Blind Spot Assist Plus and MB.DRIVE Parking Assist
  • Entertainment: SiriusXM with 360L, including a three-month trial of the Platinum Plan

Exclusive Trim Package: $2,500

The Exclusive Trim Package focuses on style and light. It adds illuminated door sills, ambient lighting and the Mercedes-Benz Iconic Grille with an illuminated panel. It also swaps the fixed glass roof for a panoramic sunroof with SKY CONTROL, which can switch between clear and opaque.

Front passengers gain their own display as well. This package works well for drivers who want the GLC to look and feel more special inside and out without a large jump in cost.

Pinnacle Trim Package: $5,800

The Pinnacle Trim Package includes everything from the Exclusive package and moves into premium sound, air quality and lighting. A Burmester 3D Surround Sound system fills the cabin, while ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL helps keep the air inside clean.

Outside, DIGITAL LIGHT headlamps come with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus for better visibility on dark roads. Active ambient lighting rounds out the package. Pinnacle is a strong fit for long-distance drivers and anyone who spends a lot of time behind the wheel at night.

Pinnacle Plus Trim Package: $8,500

Pinnacle Plus is the top of the range and includes all Exclusive and Pinnacle features. Its headline item is the 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen, a wide glass surface that stretches across the dashboard. Sound moves up to the Burmester High-End 4D Surround Sound system.

Comfort gets serious attention here. Front seats add ventilation and massage, and rear passengers get heated seats. DIGITAL LIGHT gains projection functions, the panoramic sunroof gets its own ambient lighting, and PRE-SAFE Impulse Side adds another layer of occupant protection. This package suits buyers who want every comfort and technology feature the Electric GLC offers.
