2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE.

Over the years, the GLE has become a leader in the luxury midsize SUV segment. Very popular, it offers several versions and different body choices to meet the greatest number of needs possible.

With the GLE, you get an SUV that is comfortable, safe, spacious, and very luxurious. Depending on the engine you choose, you can get one that is either very fuel efficient, powerful, or both.

Several models available in the GLE lineup.

The GLE range offers five engines with a 3.0-litre V6 serving as the entry-level model. The latter develops 329 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque, which allows the GLE to reach 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds.

Next are the GLE 550 (449 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque) and the GLE 43 4MATIC (385 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque) that offer similar performances, but have two completely different personalities. The GLE 550 is very powerful yet extremely refined, and you do not really notice its very high level of performance.

The GLE 43 is more aggressive and sounds much more sporty. Its performance on the road is also more dynamic. That said, for an experience that is truly out of the ordinary, the GLE 63 with its 577 horsepower is the preferred option.

No matter which version of the GLE you buy, you'll enjoy 690 litres of cargo space with all the seats in place. Even the sporty coupe version offers great versatility with 650 litres of cargo space behind the rear seats.
